I decided to write my musing on love being a 4 letter word in my bullying blog because bull – the root word of bullying is also a 4 letter word and it strikes me as a useful way to understand bullying behavior. Bullies are like bulls.
Don’t Ignore Your Bully – Talk To Them.
Ignore them and they will go away – doesn’t work. It’s incredibly bad advice to give to a kid. Please stop. What should you tell them instead? I’m glad you asked.
Prevention vs. Extinction
People who are being bullied – need to know how to make it stop. Not – how to prevent it. It’s already too late to prevent it.
