How to Feel Better In the Moment

This is a short video lesson to answer a question from a kid who has taken the toolkit course. She understands what to say and how to say it but it still hurts to have mean things said about you. So she wanted some advice on how to feel better in the moment.

The are a couple of ways you can do this. The first is to actively practice compassion. This is something you do for you, not your bully. It really does help you feel better in the moment. The second is to understand that once you implement these tactics, you are now the one in control. You are the one who has trigger a blow out. Your bully is responding on instinct. They are no longer in control and that should make you feel very good.

The following video goes into more detail and is for children. To access it, you must be purchase the toolkit.
