Bullying Elimination Resources

2 resources for parents and professionals.motherandson

Children who bully are learning to use power and aggression to control
and distress others. In other words, bullying – is a disrespectful peer relationship. Bullying is not limited to others and non-family members. It can happen within the family as well.

When children experience repeated aggression within family relationships it is most commonly called “abuse” or “family violence,” and within peer relationships it is called “bullying” or “harassment.”

Here are two resources to help you develop a strategy that can help. The first is a slide presentation I developed along with the Child Protection Center of Sarasota to teach parents at the Sarasota County Schools how to help their children. Another slide presentation on what to do if you witness bullying.

Please share these resources far and wide.
