Why bullies bother us so much
we seek approval from the groups we are in and are very attuned to our status within a group. So when someone challenges us and tells us we don’t belong, it hurts. A lot more than it really should.
No excuses … Bullies can be trained to behave better so let’s start training them.
Bullying is a behavior. Behaviors are learned. They do it because it works. If you want to make it stop – you have to make it stop working.
Bullying is scary but that doesn’t mean you have to live in fear
You can’t beat a bully by playing their game. So DON”T PLAY THEIR GAME! Who would you be if you didn’t care whether the bully approved of you? Be that person! Be yourself. Be happy.
Should we hate bullies?
Bullies are humans too and have their own problems. Plus, hate doesn’t help us deal with it or make the unwanted behavior stop. And, hate doesn’t feel good. Hate is triple plus bad.
